Background:
Simulation-based training systems such as the Emergo Train System (ETS) are used to improve preparedness and response in emergency and disaster medicine. These systems allow for practice in decision-making, coordination, and resource allocation in simulated crisis scenarios.

Objective:
To evaluate an ETS-based training exercise conducted for fire and rescue personnel in leadership roles, with a focus on improving decision-making, situational awareness, and communication during emergency response operations.

A total of 30 participants evaluated the exercise using a structured questionnaire. The results indicated high satisfaction with the realism, clarity, and educational value of the scenarios, with mean scores above 4.5 on a 5-point scale in most categories. Participants reported that the training supported learning outcomes and that the skills and procedures practiced were applicable to real-life situations. While ETS was generally viewed as a useful complement to traditional exercises, slightly lower scores related to perceived learning effectiveness suggested a need to refine learning objectives and enhance clarity regarding the educational purpose of the system.
