Background:
The Emergo Train System® (ETS) is a simulation-based training tool in disaster medicine used globally for evaluating and improving crisis response. Continuous development includes new patient banks reflecting emerging injury patterns.
The Emergo Train System® (ETS) is a simulation-based training tool in disaster medicine used globally for evaluating and improving crisis response. Continuous development includes new patient banks reflecting emerging injury patterns.
Objective:
To validate a newly developed patient bank consisting of 50 bomb blast victims, ensuring usability, medical accuracy, and training effectiveness within ETS exercises.

Results:
Fifty-five healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, and paramedics) participated in an ETS exercise in Jordan. The material received consistently high ratings (mean scores between 6.27 and 7.00 on a 7-point scale) regarding clarity, medical correctness, realism, and educational value. Participants reported high immersion and strong confidence in applying acquired skills to real-world scenarios. Minor feedback suggested translation into Arabic.
