Command and Control

The Focus Area ”Command and Control” aims at improving the disaster preparedness and increasing the resilience of the health care system through the development and implementation of quality assured strategies. Moreover, the Focus Area aims at strengthening interorganizational cooperation between actors involved in crisis and disaster management. This Focus Area is directed at team and organizational levels of collaboration, coordination, command and control, and management. It involves personnel, systems, and structures, together with human, technological, and organizational aspects and interactions. A project within the Darwin consortium (a Horizon2020 funded project) aims at developing common European guidelines for resilience, and is geared towards actors involved in crisis management, infrastructure, and health care.
