The Focus Area “Experimental Traumatology” aims at developing novel methods and devices for diagnosing, monitoring and treating traumatically injured patients, from point of injury throughout the health care system. Specific projects within the focus area aim to developt comprehensive strategies for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds using novel technology, investigate novel methods for skin transplantation, and novel medical device development.
